National Assembly calls off tomorrow’s resumption
Contrary to public expectation, the National Assembly will not reconvene tomorrow Tuesday August 14th. Punch reports that the spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Abdulrazak Namdas, says that the House in truth, is yet to decide on a reconvening date.
Last week, the Deputy Speaker of the House, Yussuff Lasun, had announced that the National Assembly would reconvene on Tuesday (tomorrow) to consider the budget for the 2019 polls and other pending issues forwarded to lawmakers by President Buhari in July.
